Wolfholm Hounds are first and foremost trusted family companions. We encourage and aid responsible dog ownership as well as participation in fun family or competitive events. In addition to ongoing public engagements, our wolfhounds successfully compete at all breed and specialty shows, both in Canada and USA, in rally obedience, and our dogs also appear on fashion show runways and various TV programs.
Wolfholm Irish Wolfhounds are carefully bred for type, temperament, health and soundness. They are raised in our home and matched with the prospective owners based on modified Volhard Puppy Aptitude Testing, their future families’ lifestyle and observations in the puppy pen. Puppies are examined by our veterinarian at 8 weeks of age, microchipped, tested for Liver Shunt and vaccinated with the first set of shots. Once ready to go to their forever homes, our puppies are accompanied by a Puppy Kit, a Contract, Pet Insurance coverage for the initial weeks at the new home, Longevity Guarantee of 7 Years, and 24/7 After Purchase Breeder Support. All puppies are registered with the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC). We normally sell our dogs on the CKC non-breeding contract, but we are prepared to mentor people interested in learning, showing and breeding.
